Kat is a certified firearms instructor with the ability to teach any level

Kat started Fundamental Enlightenment to help law-abiding citizens protect themselves and their families.

Kat’s personal experience of a violent encounter led her to learn about awareness and defense, and now she gives back to the community by teaching men and women how to not be a victim of violent crime.

In violent encounters, a firearm often becomes an equalizer, especially for women or for the elderly, that may otherwise feel overpowered and unable to protect themselves from younger, bigger, and stronger attackers.
